A delegation from Team One of the National Defense College visited the Agric Services Training Centre and Management Ltd (ASTC) on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, as part of their field study activities.
The visit, which aimed to explore agricultural practices and cultivation strategies in the region, included a tour of ASTC’s Mangu facility. The team was warmly received by the Managing Director of ASTC, Dr. Susan Bentu Ph.d, who provided insights into the center’s operations and its contribution to agricultural development in Plateau State.
During the visit at the Mangu Center, the delegation toured the site, observing practical fieldwork and gaining firsthand knowledge about modern farming techniques employed by ASTC. Discussions also focused on the challenges and opportunities in farming and how ASTC is addressing key issues to enhance food production and sustainability in the state.
